2017.
8.3 million people.
3.4 million millionares.
68 thousand redundancies.
2 million on minimum wage.
33 thousand labour disputes- This series is for the low paid workers. The second gen immigrants that made it to uni. The ‘You won’t get Christmas off.’ The graveyard shifts with two kids- breakfast for dinner. The 14 hours straights. The night tube homers. The new apartments next door... 'But what if they bulldoze our estate like the rest of em?' The ‘I grew up here but what if my kids can’t?’ The train strikers, teacher strikes, nurse, postman, GP strikers. The ‘We got you a council house. It’s nice, it’s by seaside.’
